Job Details Job Title: Machinist Location: Torrance, CA Salary: $24.00–$31.00 per hour As an employer of choice, our goal is to deliver an exceptional employee experience. Responsibilities Set up and operate manual, automatic, cutoff, and abrasive saws, punch press equipment, deburring machines, honing machines, drilling machines, EDM, lathes, centerless grinders, and other tools. Perform complete in-process operations on envelope assemblies and other parts requiring precision honing, such as TWT electron gun drilling and machining. Review transfer sheet details, work on discrepancies, carefully understand and apply customer requirements, and reduce scrap; dispose of unavoidable scrap to the proper area. Qualifications At least one year of hands‑on machine shop experience or equivalent education. Demonstrated skill in the use of precision measuring equipment, tools, dies, and jigs. Knowledge of all metals and their properties. Basic computer use and data entry skills. Ability to read mechanical blueprints. Basic math skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
