Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans based on the patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. This role involves the delegation and direction of therapy services, ensuring effective return to community activities. The therapist also serves as an educator for patients, families, students, and colleagues. Professional duties include maintaining compliance with the organizational Code of Conduct and embracing the company's core values.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Document patient care clearly and concisely in accordance with clinic policies and procedures.
• Manage treatment processes in compliance with signed physician orders and insurance approvals.
• Participate in student programs, guiding and supervising students effectively.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain licensure.
• Understand and contribute to the organization's performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid physical therapist license in good standing.

Schedule

This position operates on a 5x8.0 shift schedule.
