Payment Poster
Addison Group is seeking a Payment Poster for a growing healthcare organization in Braintree, MA. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team in a high-growth environment.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8.5-hour shifts
- 30-minute lunch
- Flexible start time between 7:00 AM 9:00 AM
Responsibilities:
- Post payments from various sources: mail, credit card, ACH/EFT, and 835 files
- Reconcile batch totals and resolve unapplied payments
- Monitor and resolve remit station errors
- Download and process EOBs from clearinghouses or payer portals
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely posting
- Work denials and follow up on outstanding claims
- Perform other billing-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2+ years of healthcare administrative, billing or payment posting experience
- Familiarity with EMR systems (any EMR is acceptable)
