M&J is seeking Office Engineers to support projects for The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA), contractors, utility companies, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and correspondence. Track contractor submittals and shop drawings and coordinate review with MDOT SHA and the project team. Maintain quantity tracking logs and assist with preparation of progress payment estimates. Assist with preparation and documentation of change orders and force account work. Maintain document control systems and electronic project files. Prepare meeting minutes for progress meetings and coordination meetings. Assist with preparation of reports required by MDOT SHA. Support project staff with contract administration documentation and records management. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Minimum 5–10 years of experience in construction administration or project documentation. Preferred Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification. NICET Level II or III certification. Experience with DOT project documentation systems. Experience with electronic document management platforms.
