Correctional Nurse Practitioner (FNP/AGNP) needed asap in Ohio! Pay Rate: $65–$68 per hour Schedule: Full-Time, Weekdays Only Setting: Onsite Assignment Length: 3 Months, With Potential for Extension We are seeking a qualified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) to provide onsite healthcare services to the male population at a correctional facility in Caldwell, Ohio. Candidates must have an active Ohio Nurse Practitioner license and at least one year of NP experience in primary care or hospital medicine. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule with no evenings, weekends, or holidays, along with flexibility in scheduling. Responsibilities Provide primary care and medical services to individuals within a correctional facility. Perform patient assessments, physical examinations, and evaluations of medical concerns. Develop treatment plans and manage acute and chronic health conditions. Prescribe medications and coordinate follow-up care as appropriate. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation. Follow facility protocols, clinical guidelines, and applicable healthcare regulations. Requirements Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner credentials. At least one year of NP experience in primary care or hospital medicine. Current BLS/CPR certification at the healthcare-provider level. Board certification required; board-eligible candidates should identify their status upon submission. DEA certification, as required for the assignment. Ability to work onsite in a correctional healthcare setting. Full-time, Monday through Friday. Four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts. Flexible start and end times based on facility operations. Initial three-month assignment with potential for extension based on facility needs and mutual fit. Credentialing Requirements Candidates must provide: Comprehensive resume with education, graduation location and year, training, and complete work history. Copy of active Ohio NP license.
