Job Title: Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour; Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year in Telemetry License: Pending license accepted Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Must be competent in managing cardiac drips. Description: Position is for a Telemetry Registered Nurse. The nurse must be skilled in administering and managing cardiac drips. Patient ratios are 1:4 during days and 1:6 during nights. Willingness to work every third weekend is required. First-timers are accepted for this position. The environment includes a mix of patient diagnoses such as angiograms, heart failure, chest pain, pacemakers, and dysrhythmias. Special procedures include right/left heart catheterizations and pacemaker implantation. Telemetry monitoring is a core component of the role. The nurse will perform tasks related to patient care in a short-term acute care setting. Interdisciplinary support is available from various teams such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Candidates may be required to float within the facility to meet operational needs.
