Warehouse Sales Associate

The general function of the position is to serve as a key contact and liaison for customers. Incumbent will generate sales while providing quick, accurate and courteous service to customers. This position will be responsible for providing efficient service to maximize sales while focusing on customer satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions:

• Sell merchandise to customers utilizing product and applications
• Service orders that have been called in for customer pick up
• Works with customers at a retail level
• Place, arrange, and maintain merchandise displays
• Perform any and all physical requirements necessary to lift, push, pull and move inventory around the warehouse
• Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment and any material(s) contained in the manner consistent with the intended purpose of equipment and the manufacturer's instructions
• Keep updated with the product inventory and its functionality
• Follow all Company safety procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Work mandatory overtime as needed

Qualifications:

• Knowledge to select material that best suits customer's needs
• Ability to gain knowledge of products through self-study and attending training classes
• Ability to perform the physical requirements necessary to receive, pick, pack, ship, and move materials throughout the warehouse
• Knowledge of product line and suppliers
• Works as a team and also without supervision
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in Electrical Supplies or Construction industry preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
