Cardiac Cath Lab RN

Position is for four 10-hour shifts, day shift, Monday to Friday, with on-call requirements that include weekends and holidays. The shift hours are from 08:00 to 18:30, with rotating on-call required for weekends and holidays. Expected patient ratio is 1:6. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend requirements include every other weekend. On-call is required, but no floating is needed. The unit performs 12 to 18 cases a day, circulating and monitoring. This is a high-volume, high-acuity Cath Lab unit that takes emergency calls. The team is oriented and hard-working, utilizing three newly renovated labs performing 4 to 7 cases per lab each day. Experience with specific procedures such as TAVRs, Watchman, cardiomems, and CTO is beneficial. The necessary skills include the ability to circulate, scrub, and monitor procedures effectively. Selected candidates should be able to manage and interpret dysrhythmias and monitor procedural sedation. Documentation is completed using EPIC and other specific systems. The candidate must be versatile and willing to work alongside an interdisciplinary team. This role involves hands-on involvement with critical procedures and treatment plans for patients. All scrubs and other necessary equipment will be provided. Candidates must complete any required training and attain all certifications before starting.
