Senior Business Intelligence AnalystLocation: Southlake, TX (100% Onsite)Type: Contract-to-HireVisa: Only USCOnly locals to Dallas Fort-Worth AreaJob Description:Senior Business Intelligence (BI) AnalystWe are seeking a Senior BI Analyst to lead the design and delivery of advanced analytics solutions that drive strategic decision-making. This individual will develop robust data models, datasets, and dashboards, while mentoring team members and promoting data-driven best practices across the organization. The ideal candidate is both a hands-on data expert and a trusted business partner who can translate complex data into actionable insights.Key ResponsibilitiesData Strategy & InsightsDesign, build, and optimize data models and interactive dashboards in Tableau to support executive and operational decisions.Conduct in-depth analyses of large datasets to uncover business trends, opportunities, and performance drivers.Translate findings into clear, impactful insights for senior leadership.Ensure BI initiatives align with overall business strategy and objectives.Data Management & OptimizationWrite and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data, primarily from Snowflake.Oversee data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure integrity, scalability, and efficiency.Serve as a Snowflake subject matter expert, guiding the use of the platform for enterprise analytics.Collaboration & LeadershipPartner with business units to define KPIs and deliver BI solutions that address key challenges.Act as a strategic advisor to executives, providing actionable, data-backed recommendations.Mentor junior analysts, fostering continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.QualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.5+ years of experience in business intelligence or analytics, working with large and complex datasets.Advanced proficiency in SQL DevelopmentExperience with Salesforce reporting and CRM Analytics.Strong communication skills, including the ability to present technical insights to executive audiences.Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with keen attention to detail.PreferredMaster’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field.Background in insurance, financial services, or another highly data-centric industry.Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics.Expertise in data storytelling and visualization best practices.
