Your Role on the Team Position Summary The Radiologic Technologist performs the range of basic diagnostic radiologic and fluoroscopic procedures in a hospital setting and will perform x-ray in conjunction with surgical and other special procedures. Hours will vary based on procedure volumes and staffing requirements and will include working various shifts and taking call as needed. This position will perform in-patient and out-patient procedures in the main hospital for all patient age groups and demographics. Required Qualifications What It Takes to be Successful Minimum Education: Graduate from an approved AMA school of radiography. Current California CRT certification (or eligible to take the test if recent graduate or new hire AND must pass this test on the next possible testing date after hire) Current Fluoroscopy permit (or obtains fluoro permit within one year of hire). Current registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Current American Heart Association BLS certification. Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System Preferred Qualifications 1 year acute hospital experience preferred.
