Delivery Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $14.42 – $20.40 per hour. The hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual and quarterly performance bonuses or premiums that may be paid in amounts per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Responsibilities Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently. Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Keep vehicles clean and maintained; perform daily vehicle inspections before operating. Secure keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and collected monies at all times. Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and complete driver return slips. Communicate any customer problems or special needs to store management. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately. Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure the vehicle at the end of the day. Clock in/out according to company policy. Assist with additional duties such as customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, and putting up stock orders. Occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates. Required Qualifications Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations. Driving record that meets the company’s 14‑18‑point system. Legally required state driver’s license and compliance with company driving eligibility requirements. Desired Qualifications Familiarity with automotive parts.
