Staff Development Coordinator (RN)

About the Role:
We're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Staff Development Coordinator (RN). As a key member of our education team, you'll be responsible for coordinating and implementing educational programs, training sessions, and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff. Your expertise will help us maintain our high standards of patient care and promote a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and facilitate educational programs, training sessions, and workshops for nursing staff, incorporating evidence-based practice and research-based guidelines
Develop and implement training materials, including curriculum design, presentation preparation, and evaluation
Conduct needs assessments, identify educational gaps, and develop targeted programs to address staff development needs
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to identify and prioritize educational goals and objectives
Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure quality and relevance
Stay current with industry trends, research, and best practices to maintain expertise and inform educational programs
Requirements:
Registered Nurse (RN) license and current registration with the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a staff development or education role in a healthcare setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of individuals.
Analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
