Responds to telephone, email, and facsimile inquiries. Validates requests and authorizations for release of information according to company procedures and HIPPA regulations. Work collaboratively with hospital departments to process all revisions and requests for medical records. Maintains patient medical records and ensures accurate documentation per requirements. Monitors medical record chart completion, data accuracy and completeness. Ensures HIPPA guidelines are followed. Qualifications Qualifications: High School or equivalency diploma One year experience in a health care facility working with medical records Salary range: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour. We would expect those hired into this job would be paid within this hourly rate, however, certain circumstances may allow us to pay outside of this hourly rate.
