Job Description

Under the supervision of a Radiologist and the Imaging Manager, performs basic radiologic procedures at UAB community clinics. Independently operates within established protocols to produce diagnostic images using prescribed ionizing radiation. Maintains responsibility for assigned procedures or work areas.

Qualifications

Graduate from an Associate Degree Radiography program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
