ASC STOCKROOM LOGISTICS SHIPPING CLERK FLOAT

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, label, and stock incoming materials.
• Pick, stage, pack, and prepare orders for shipment or internal delivery.
• Move materials safely between stockroom, production, receiving, and shipping areas.
• Complete inventory transactions and maintain accurate paperwork and system records.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory checks, and discrepancy resolution.
• Prepare shipping documents, verify order accuracy, and coordinate carrier pickups.
• Provide flexible coverage across stockroom, logistics, receiving, and shipping assignments.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance, flexibility, and a strong commitment to teamwork.
• Previous stockroom, warehouse, logistics, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to read work orders, packing lists, labels, and shipping documents accurately.
• Basic computer and inventory-system skills.
• Ability to prioritize changing assignments and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Forklift or material-handling equipment experience preferred; certification may be required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.
