Mechanical designer

job summary:

Mechanical Drafter/Designer for a global leader in mobility products and services based near Memphis, TN. This role is reposnsible for preparing hydraulic and traction submittal drawings for customer approval.

• Design mechanical system layouts based on defined, pre-engineered products to meet customer specifications
  
  
• Prepare hydraulic and traction submittal drawings for customer approval
  
  
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and data sheets
  
  
• Create layout drawings using 2D and 3D drafting systems
  
  
• Maintain/develop department owned templates, calculation sheets, and reference documents

• Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor
  
  
• Experience creating layout drawings using 2D and 3D drafting systems
  
  
• Manufacturing background

• Bachelor's Degree in a mechanical discipline

• Experience level: Experienced
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Education: Associates
