Materials Coordinator- Supply Chain

Materials CoordinatorThe Materials Coordinator facilitates the distribution of supplies in accordance with hospital and departmental policy and procedure. Serves as a purchasing/supply resource to hospital staff, as well as other areas as assigned. Some major job functions include but are not limited to:Maintains and stocks assigned supply locations.Processes departmental requisitions electronically.Receives, processes returns, and maintains par levels.Replenishes code carts.Maintains supply database to reflect items additions/deletions and par level adjustments.Ensures organization and cleanliness within inventory supply rooms.Maintains all required competencies.Performs other Materials Management functions as requested by the Supervisor.Maintains annual safety and infection control in-services in addition to educational hours to meet requirements.The incumbent may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned.Medium to Heavy Physical Demand: The job requires constant standing, frequently walking, and bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills. Attention to detail and ability to write legibly. Ability to lift/push/pull 100 lbs. For any weight over 35 lbs., use Safe Handling Equipment.May require the use of safety equipment, such as HEPA mask, for infection prevention:On call responsibilities as directed:Ability to travel between campus buildings, remote facilities, and out of town as needed:The base compensation range for this role is $16.12-$23.39 hourlyIndividual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
