We are a family-owned and run business seeking an experienced Rollback Operator to join our team. This position requires a dedicated team player who is eager to work in the dynamic and sometimes unpredictable towing industry. The ideal candidate must have a clean driving record, pass a criminal background check, and successfully clear a drug screening. Hours can vary with some weeks demanding significant overtime, so flexibility and commitment are essential.
Responsibilities
- Operate standard rollback truck for vehicle towing
- Safely load and secure vehicles for transport
- Navigate routes efficiently to provide timely service
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
- Interact professionally with customers during service calls
- Recover vehicles in various conditions
- Report incidents accurately and promptly
- Operate towing equipment effectively and maintain its condition
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in vehicle towing
- Clean driving record
- DOT physical certification
- Knowledge of vehicle recovery techniques
- Proficiency with towing equipment operation
- Strong route planning skills
- Familiarity with safety procedures
- Excellent customer service and time management abilities
- Effective teamwork and problem-solving skills
