Digital Specialist The Digital Specialist is responsible for enhancing Research and Economic Development's digital presence through strategic web development, content management, and digital engagement initiatives. This role leads the design, development, and optimization of Research andEconomic Development's web ecosystem, with a primary focus on the Drupal Content Management System. This role is responsible for advancing a user-centered, accessible, and high-performing web presence that supports research visibility, innovation initiatives, and stakeholder engagement. The position ensures all digital touchpoints are accessible, user-centered, and aligned with institutional branding and communication goals. The full salary range for the Digital Specialist is $75,900.00 - $137,300.00 annually. However, the budgeted salary range for this position is up to $106,600.00. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Required Experience Requirements 4 - 7 years of related experience. Required Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript - Required Minimum Requirements Thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of design and user experience, including skill to design in an appealing, lively and relevant way. Thorough understanding of technical language and requirements of the assigned work. Thorough knowledge of content management systems and/or relevant web applications used for web production and organization-specific computer application programs. Thorough skills to create clear, easy-to-navigate, informative, accurate, well-designed, and functional web sites that provide web content consistent with the organization's message and in keeping with management directives and client objectives. Thorough understanding of organization's processes, procedures, and applicable rules and regulations for web communications. Thorough technical skills in computer applications for web production, image handling, publishing and design, illustration, presentation preparation, animation, web interaction, and/or other state-of-the-art web communication capabilities. Thorough interpersonal communication skills. Thorough skills to develop and implement original ideas and correctly identify and effectively solve problems. Expertise in Drupal CMS, including, content types, views, taxonomy HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and familiarity with PHP Preferred Qualifications Thorough understanding of the Drupal web platform and social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) Thorough understanding of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite products.
