Warehouse Lead (Fulfillment and Logistics) - 2nd Shift

Warehouse Lead (2nd Shift)Dealmed is a fast-growing, tech-driven medical distributor serving healthcare facilities nationwide. We are seeking a highly reliable, hands-on Warehouse Lead (2nd Shift, 12:00pm to 8:30pm) to lead all outbound fulfillment activities during the afternoon and evening shift.This role is responsible for ensuring orders are picked, packed, loaded, and shipped accurately, safely, and on time. The Lead will also assist with truck loading, last-mile preparation, and supporting inbound activities as needed. This is a working warehouse role that requires flexibility and the ability to jump into any warehouse function when required.Key ResponsibilitiesOutbound Fulfillment & ShippingEnsure orders are packed professionally, accurately, and in the most cost-effective manner.Load and unload delivery trucks and ensure proper securing of freight.Assist with preparing deliveries for next-day routes and late same-day shipments.Technology & SystemsUse company software and WMS tools to manage picking, packing, shipping, and order status.Communicate issues, delays, or system discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager promptly.Logistics & Delivery SupportAssist with loading delivery vehicles for NYC/Philly/NJ and surrounding areas.Support route preparation and logistics coordination as needed.Warehouse Support & CleanlinessAssist with receiving inbound shipments when needed.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe outbound and loading area.Ensure packing supplies, labels, and materials are stocked and available.Follow OSHA and company safety standards.Qualifications & RequirementsPrior Supervisor or Lead experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.Forklift certification (required).Clean driver's license.Proven experience in a distribution warehouse.Past delivery driving and/or logistics experience.Strong working knowledge of New York City five boroughs.Experience with loading and unloading trucks and vans.Hands-on experience with picking, packing, and shipping operations.Above-average computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems such as NetSuite.Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.Key Traits for SuccessHands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves leadership style.Strong sense of urgency and accountability.Reliable, safety conscious, and detail oriented.Positive attitude with a strong customer-service mindset.Comfortable taking direction and executing initiatives from management.Willing to assist across departments as operational needs change.
