This position is located at primarily in Benwood, WV (Ohio County Coal Resources) and Moundsville, WV (Marshall County Coal Resources) for river operations. The selected employee would report to Monessen, PA then be shuttled to operation stationed at . This position is responsible for all daily operations of barges and vessels.

Pay Range: $201- $219 per day

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adhere to all company policies
• Follow companys safety guidelines
• Making and delivering the tow
• Checking the fleet (lines, cables, hatches, and water)
• Retrieving and placing lanterns
• Performing pre-operational checks
• Cleaning the vessel
• General maintenance of pumps/hoses, wires, and lanterns
• Perform general repairs as needed
• Follow directions
• Be able to visually inspect
• Work around operating equipment
• Utilize eye/hand coordination
• Use/knowledge of hand tools
• Work well in a team environment
• Operate machinery
• Make decisions in high pressure situation, safely

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Regular and punctual attendance
• Effective communication is required
• Work Safely
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), required
• Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently
• Must be able to successfully pass a post offer drug test and background check
• Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship

JOB SCHEDULE AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed or as schedule requires (subject to applicants religious practices)
• Must be able to work 7 days a week with 12-hour shifts (6 hours on/6 hours off); (subject to the applicants religious practices)
• Ability/willingness to work any shift assigned
• Ability to lift floor-to-waist and waist-to-overhead
• Ability to push/pull as needed
• Standing, bending, step climbing, crawling and working overhead
• Ability to perform heavy labor and lift 50+ pounds as needed
