Friedmans is seeking experienced Support Staff for both morning and evening shifts at our high-volume Times Square flagship location. Established in 2009, Friedmans is an Americana-style restaurant group with eight locations throughout Manhattan, focused on quality food, espresso, beer, and wine.
These are full-time positions combining busser and food runner responsibilities in a fast-paced operation offering all-day service and transitioning into a dinner-and-show venue at night.
Open positions:
- Morning Support Staff: Shifts can begin as early as 6:00 AM and last approximately 8 to 9 hours depending on business flow.
- Evening Support Staff: Shifts begin around 3:00 PM and run through close, supporting both dinner service and our live show programming.

You are:
A fast, reliable team player who thrives in a high-volume environment, anticipates the needs of servers and guests, stays organized under pressure, and takes pride in keeping the floor running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Running food accurately and promptly, including communicating allergen and modification details to guests
- Clearing, resetting, and turning tables quickly to support flow
- Maintaining water, coffee, and table needs throughout service
- Keeping side stations, the dining room, and service areas clean and stocked
- Supporting servers, bartenders, and the kitchen wherever needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year busser or food runner experience in high-volume restaurants
- Full availability for your chosen shift, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and allergen awareness
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays for extended periods
- Professional, efficient, and guest-focused
