About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Individual Giving to spearhead the development and execution of a robust individual giving program. This program is designed to create diverse and meaningful opportunities for donors to support the organization's mission and initiatives at various giving levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team that includes Major, Annual, and Planned Giving, and will work to enhance current fundraising strategies, set strategic goals, and provide training and development for the staff. A key aspect of the role is the personal cultivation and solicitation of high-capacity individual prospects, as well as providing stewardship and support to donors and prospects in the executive leadership portfolio. Applicants for the Vice President of Individual Giving position at the company should have a proven track record in fundraising, with a focus on individual giving. The role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to coordinate and maximize the efforts of the giving teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a team, be adept at problem-solving, and have a strong commitment to collaboration and accountability. A sophisticated management style and a strong orientation toward teamwork are essential. The role also involves working closely with the executive leadership, so the ability to provide high-level support and stewardship is a key requirement.
