Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend and Holiday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient nursing care for adult trauma, medical, and surgical patients with a wide range of medical and surgical needs, including orthopedic trauma
• Perform assessments, patient education, and clinical skills within a 32-bed unit operating at a 1:5–6 nurse-to-patient ratio on nights
• Utilize EPIC for electronic documentation, AcuDose, and other inpatient equipment
• Float to Medical Surgical units across multiple locations within Fargo as needed
• Badge in and out of the facility at all times; wear Navy Blue scrubs per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience in a large hospital setting (Level 1 Trauma Center, 200+ beds)
• Active North Dakota RN license or Compact RN license
• Active BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Ability and willingness to float to any Medical Surgical unit across multiple Fargo locations
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard travel rate; candidates living between 60 and 80 miles may be considered at a reduced local travel rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a busy Level 1 Trauma Center environment
• Familiarity with orthopedic trauma and hip fracture program protocols
• Experience with Joint Commission (TJC) certified programs
