Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Develop and maintain positive therapeutic relationships with clients, enhancing their trust and openness during counseling sessions. \n
- Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and create comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that align with the unique needs and circumstances of each patient. \n
- Lead therapeutic sessions for individuals and couples, employing various evidence-based methodologies and techniques tailored to their specific therapeutic goals. \n
- Regularly evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments of client progress, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptation of treatment strategies. \n
- Offer referrals to specialized services as needed, collaborating with other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care. \n
- Participate in case consultations and team meetings to share insights, challenges, and best practices with fellow therapists, contributing to a culture of learning and growth. \n
The LMFT will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals and families facing challenges such as relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. Each client presents a unique story and set of circumstances, allowing the therapist to employ a variety of therapeutic techniques to facilitate healing and growth.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A valid LMFT license in the state of Georgia. \n
- A Master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a aligned field. \n
- Strong therapeutic and counseling skills with the ability to engage and motivate clients from diverse backgrounds. \n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective client interaction and documentation. \n

- Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and familiarity with evidence-based practices related to substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. \n
- Background in group therapy facilitation or family therapy is considered a plus, demonstrating versatility in therapeutic approaches. \n
- Previous experience working in outpatient settings is advantageous, providing insight into the operational dynamics of therapy practices. \n
Thrive Horizons Wellness offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
