The Front Desk role at a physician practice is vital for ensuring smooth daily operations and an excellent patient experience. This position involves managing patient appointments, handling inquiries, and coordinating communications within a small, close-knit team. The front desk staff reports directly to the Clinic Manager, working collaboratively to maintain an organized and welcoming environment.

 

Responsibilities

• Manage patient check-in and appointment scheduling efficiently
• Handle telephone calls and respond to patient inquiries
• Assist with billing processes and insurance verification
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain patient records
• Coordinate communication among medical staff and visitors
• Coordinate communication with other medical services.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in front desk or receptionist roles
