Grand Theater Manager

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Oversee the planning and execution of rooming lists, transportation needs, and the supervision of tour riders. Clearly communicate expectations, roles, and responsibilities to subordinate team members. Assist in overseeing the hospitality riders. Distribute correspondence to Front Desk, Transportation, Bell Desk, AV/Entertainment Technicians, Sales, Food and Beverage, and all other departments as needed or directed. Correspond with Production/Tour managers via personal interaction, telephone, fax or e-mail. Resolve guest concerns and report as needed to leadership. Monitor payroll spreadsheets and provide bi-weekly payroll breakdown to executive management and administration as needed. Assist in managing and organizing all merchandise sales. Daily runs for intercompany delivery. Review and maintain contracts and transportation spreadsheets. Aware of all property and brand events, initiatives, products, and services to ensure guest satisfaction. Provide professional and friendly guest services. Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position. Basic computer knowledge. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team. Knowledge of IATSE contracts and verbiage. Ability of complex reading, writing, math, and task completion skills is required. Must have the following skills: clerical, compiling, coordination, analyzing, supervising, instructing, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making. Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE Minimum 2 years’ entertainment experience is required or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License & Alcohol Awareness card. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly sitting, standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, frequently crouching, and kneeling during the duration of their shift. Must be able to push/pull 50lbs or less frequently and 100lbs or less occasionally. The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both feet. Team member will constantly have repetitive use of their dominant hand, occasional use of their non-dominant hand, and constant light grasping motions. Team member will have occasional use of firm/strong grasping motion. Finger dexterity of both hands will be frequently required. Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work performed indoors and outdoors, alone and frequently with and around others. Team Member may be around flame/heat generated devices. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Team Member may be exposed to extreme heat/cold, vibrations, slippery surfaces, high places, moving objects, fumes/odor and/or secondhand smoke.
