Job Description: The Crawford County R-II School District is seeking to hire a Science Instructor at Cuba High School for the 2026-27 School year.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To create a flexible instructional program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth.
- To establish effective rapport with students assigned to the classroom.
- To motivate pupils to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to ensure that effective learning occurs for each child, every day.
- Provides positive feedback and encouragement for students.
- Facilitates an environment that promotes improved oral and written English skills, academic success, social growth, and well-being of all students.
- Organizes and uses a variety of teaching techniques, strategies, materials, and technology to maximize the learning of each child, individually and in group settings.
- Assesses student progress, provides students and parents with specific feedback, and uses the results to adjust instruction as needed; serves as a communication link between school and home.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested by supervising administrators.
- Crawford County operates on a 4-day school week.
- Receive credit for your public education experience on our salary schedule.
- High School Science
- Dual Credit Science through ECC
- Education : Bachelor's Degree or higher in a major area of study, Prefer Master's to be eligible to teach dual credit Science.
- Certification: Valid Missouri Teaching Certificate w/ Appropriate Secondary Science Endorsement or 9-12 Science.
- Effective oral and written communication skills
