Scrum master

Role Description
• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile practices within our teams
• The Scrum Master will be responsible for guiding teams in adopting Scrum principles, ensuring effective collaboration, and removing impediments to deliver high-quality products on time
• This role acts as a servant-leader, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and Agile excellence

Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including:
o Daily stand-ups
o Sprint planning
o Sprint reviews
o Retrospectives
• Guide and coach the team on Agile/Scrum principles and best practices
• Ensure the team adheres to Scrum processes and framework
• Remove obstacles and impediments that hinder the team's progress
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to manage and refine the product backlog
• Promote transparency and clear communication across stakeholders
• Track and report progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down charts, etc.)
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback
• Support multiple teams if required in a scaled Agile environment (SAFe, Scrum of Scrums, etc.)
• Help the organization adopt Agile mindset and practices beyond the team

Required Skills & Qualifications


Education
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)


Agile & Scrum
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks:
o Scrum
o Kanban
o SAFe
• Scrum certifications preferred:
o CSM
o PSM
o SAFe Scrum Master
Tools
• Experience with Agile tools:
o JIRA
o zure DevOps
o Trello
o Similar tools
Communication & Leadership
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
• bility to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in IT, software development, or digital transformation projects
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in large enterprise or distributed teams
• Coaching and mentoring experience
