Human Resources Manager - Hiring Immediately - Excellent Compensation and Benefits
Greater Burlington, Vermont Area | Full-Time

A growing and successful multi-location organization in the Greater Burlington area is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions across multiple locations. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in talent acquisition, employee development, compliance, and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting, hiring, and onboarding efforts.
  
• Manage employee relations, performance management, and retention initiatives.
  
• Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and HR policies.
  
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  
• Manage workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and related programs.
  
• Support managers with coaching, employee development, and performance improvement processes.
  
• Coordinate employee training and leadership development initiatives.
  
• Maintain employee records and HR systems while ensuring confidentiality.
  
• Foster a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
  
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational development.
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  
• Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively with employees at all levels.
  
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
  
• Multi-location experience is a plus.
