With convenient locations to serve our customers, Express Lab continues to grow and offer excellent local service.A Day in the Life of a CytotechnologistAs a Cytotechnologist, you will provide preparation and accurate microscopic screening of gynecological specimens for the purpose of detecting and diagnosing the presence or absence of cancerous and pre-cancerous cell changes and other pathological conditions. You will provide clinicians with accurate results in a timely manner to assist them with optimal patient care.You will alsoScreen and evaluate gynecological cytology slides (using SurePath and ThinPrep methodology)Perform daily quality controlParticipate in proficiency testingParticipate in document control and re-screeningComply with state and federal regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.QualificationsBachelor's degree in a Science related field and successful completion of an accredited Cytotechnology programCAP accredited cytology certificationASCP certification3 years clinical experience preferredWork ScheduleThis full-time Cytotechnologist position typically works 8 to 5, Monday-FridayReady to Join Our Team?We understand your time is valuable, so we have a very quick and easy application process.
