An exciting opportunity awaits to provide physical therapy support within an early childhood education program, working with PreK students in a vibrant and engaging academic setting. This contract position requires on-site services across two schools, supporting young learners’ physical development while collaborating with educational teams. The position offers approximately 22.5 hours per week over three days, with the flexibility to select your consistent schedule. Commitment begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of May 2027, with a potential expansion to an additional day after January.

Ideal candidates excel at engaging young children, demonstrate flexibility, and have a passion for school-based therapy. Previous pediatric or school experience is greatly valued.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current and active Physical Therapist license in Missouri
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfort and competence in working with early childhood (PreK) students

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to PreK students across two sites
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and family members to support student development
• Accurately document sessions, progress, and maintain compliance with school district guidelines
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings as required
• Complete time-sensitive credentialing processes, including fingerprinting and technology authorization
