Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor of Neurological Surgery (Clinician Educator) CHLA

Position Overview The Division of Neurosurgery, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) and the Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of USC are actively seeking a full‑time faculty member for the position of Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor of Neurological Surgery (Clinician Educator). The ideal candidate will have clinical expertise in general pediatric neurosurgical conditions and an interest in treating hydrocephalus. Essential Responsibilities Provide clinical care in pediatric neurosurgery, including neurosurgical intervention for hydrocephalus and other neurosurgical conditions. Participate in surgical case volume of 600‑700 cases/year and support a full complement of Advanced Practice Providers. Educate the next generation of pediatric neurosurgeons through fellowship and residency programs. Engage in research and scholarly activities within the Division. Qualifications & Experience Board eligibility or certification in pediatric neurological surgery. Strong clinical, research, and leadership experience in a children’s hospital and/or academic pediatric department affiliated with a university medical school. Academic Appointment Academic appointment through USC Keck School of Medicine is available at a level appropriate to training and experience. Compensation Annual base salary range: $580,000–$862,000.
