Addiction Medicine Provider | Brighton Center for Recovery

Henry Ford Brighton Center for Recovery is looking for a Full‑Time Addiction Medicine physician to join our elite team. This position is for a Board‑Eligible/Board‑Certified Addictionologist to provide care for patients dealing with alcohol and drug addiction. Position Highlights Only licensed drug treatment center in Michigan with 24‑hour nursing staff coverage. Full‑time licensed dietitian and nutrition specialist on campus. On‑site drug treatment physicians, counselors and therapists. Hospital‑employed day position, office hours 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., participating in on‑call rotational schedule. Responsibilities Outpatient visits include children's program, outpatient medical/psychiatric follow‑up and women's recovery. Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnosis and treatment skills. Recommend, participate in and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care for patients. Provide appropriate documentation related to patient care. Work in collaboration with other members of the health‑care team to deliver high‑quality patient care. Licensure/Certification/Registration Required Credential(s) Physician (MD/DO) with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Michigan Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Preferred Credential(s) Board Certified in specialty. Board Certified in Addiction Medicine. Suboxone Waiver preferred. Education Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
