Company Description Behavioral Health Associates of Georgia LLC is a trauma-informed private therapy practice founded in 2015 to help clients address the root causes of their distress and move toward mental and emotional freedom. The practice provides mental health counseling for children, teens, and adults, along with prevention and education services in schools and community settings. The team delivers evidence-based treatment for a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and anger management. Services include behavioral health assessments, individual therapy, family therapy, group counseling, and couples counseling, supported by products designed to help individuals manage symptoms and improve quality of life. Role Description This Psychotherapist role is a hybrid position based in Fayetteville, GA, with a mix of on-site sessions and some work-from-home responsibilities. The Psychotherapist will support the provision of counseling services by assisting with intake and behavioral health assessments, participating in individual, family, group, and couples therapy, and documenting clinical notes in accordance with practice standards. Day-to-day tasks include developing treatment plans, implementing evidence-based interventions, collaborating with the clinical team, and contributing to prevention and education efforts in school and community settings. Qualifications Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, with an understanding of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Skills in Counseling and Relationship Counseling, including rapport building, active listening, and facilitating individual, family, group, and couples sessions under supervision. Basic knowledge of Medicine as it relates to behavioral health, including awareness of psychopharmacology and multidisciplinary care coordination. Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a master's program in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field (licensure-track status preferred). Ability to maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and protect client confidentiality in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with cultural humility and the ability to work with diverse populations across the lifespan. Willingness to receive supervision, integrate feedback, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a hybrid work environment. CPR/First Aid certification, prior clinical or community mental health experience, and familiarity with school or community-based programs are beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
