Job Title: Senior Assembly Technician
Location: 77484
Position Summary:
The Senior Assembly Technician is responsible for leading the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment while ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety standards are met. This role serves as a subject matter expert on the production floor and supports junior technicians.
- Lead and perform complex mechanical assembly of industrial equipment and systems
- Interpret and execute work from blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve assembly or performance issues
- Oversee and support junior technicians, providing guidance and training as needed
- Conduct final inspections and ensure all builds meet quality and compliance standards
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and efficiency
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Assist with testing, commissioning, and field readiness of equipment
- 3–5+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or industrial manufacturing
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Advanced mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Leadership or mentorship experience preferred
- Proficient with hand and power tools
