Education : high school diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands : This position is very active and may require standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and squatting. The employee may be required to do heavy lifting up to 40 pounds depending on the job.
Work Environment : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to hot/cold temperatures, concrete floors and the noise level can be loud.
Essential Functions
- Daily set up and operation of a CNC or Manual press brake
- Must read and understand blueprints and understand dimensions and tolerances of finished parts
- Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations
- Must be able to make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance.
- Detect and report defective or questionable materials to the supervisor
- Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition
- Follow all safety rules
