Assembler

Position Title: Assembler Wage: $18.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 06:00 am - 02:30 pm Assembler Responsibilities Responsible for the fabrication of custom exhibits. Provide technical guidance and training of others assigned to work team. Have general cabinetmaking ability. Have a general knowledge and ability to work with wood, aluminum, steel, paint and graphics. Work with any/all materials by using all equipment that one is approved on. Study blueprints and diagrams to determine dimensions of structure to be constructed. Strictly follow all safety guidelines to ensure the safety of own self and other co-workers. Other duties as assigned Requirements for Assembler 5+ years of carpentry/cabinetmaking experience required. Ability to read and interpret shop drawings. Strong ability to handle deadline pressures and multiple assignments. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form. Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis. Must have manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with fingers and perceive attributes of objects and materials.
