What You Will Do

• Run the Line: Set up, operate, and troubleshoot high-speed folding and gluing machinery.
• Manage Materials: Monitor and adjust glue application levels and machine speeds for perfect precision.
• Perform Changeovers: Switch out parts and adjust machine settings when production runs change.
• Quality Control: Check finished packaging products frequently to ensure glue lines and folds meet strict standards.
• Lead by Example: Coordinate with feeders and packers on your line to maintain a smooth flow.

What We Look For

• Mechanical Aptitude: Experience operating complex machines or a strong talent for working with mechanical tools.
• Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for 12-hour shifts.
• Sharp Eye for Detail: Ability to spot tiny flaws in alignment or adhesive application quickly.
• Reliability: Excellent attendance is a must to keep the production line running.
• Experience: Previous hands-on experience running production machines. If not, we will train the right mechanical candidate.

This is a Contract position based out of Mitchell, SD.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
