Manager, Patient Data Management
Amgen Inc
Manager overseeing governance, operations, and strategic management of patient-level data assets across Amgen's patient support programs, specialty pharmacies, and site-of-care platforms. Role partners with Commercial, Technology, Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure compliant data acquisition, integration, and delivery supporting business analytics and patient journey insights.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient data governance and operations across Amgen brands, support programs, and data sources
- Lead end-to-end onboarding of patient data sources including requirements, mapping, testing, and deployment
- Investigate and resolve data quality issues through profiling, validation, and root-cause analysis
- Develop data specifications, dictionaries, business rules, and governance documentation
- Manage external vendors and technology partners to ensure quality and service-level compliance
Requirements
- Doctorate degree and 2+ years data management or healthcare analytics experience
- Master's degree and 4+ years data management or healthcare analytics experience
- Bachelor's degree and 6+ years data management or healthcare analytics experience
- Associate's degree and 10+ years data management or healthcare analytics experience
- High school diploma and 12+ years data management or healthcare analytics experience
- Experience managing patient-level healthcare data assets in PSP, Hub, Copay, or Specialty Pharmacy environments
- Expertise in data governance, stewardship, quality management, and data lifecycle
