Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:
The OR RN will provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a high-volume operating room setting. This role involves supporting surgical teams through all phases of patient care, ensuring safety and efficient procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and prepare operating rooms for scheduled surgeries.
• Assist surgeons and staff during procedures, adhering to sterile techniques.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any changes during surgery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures using electronic charting systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including radiation badges and infection control standards.
• Support patient recovery post-operation, including assessments and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid South Carolina or Multi-State Compact RN license.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent OR nursing experience.
• Maintain current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Be willing to float within scope across facilities and units as needed.
• Be capable of working a 4x10 day shift schedule.
• Hold a radiation badge and provide proof of compliance.
