Job Description: As a School LVN, you will play a vital role in providing healthcare services to students within the school setting. You will collaborate with school personnel, healthcare providers, and families to ensure the safety and well-being of students requiring medical care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. - Provide first aid and emergency care as needed. - Monitor and document students' health status and progress. - Assist with toileting, first aid, and student mobility around the school campus. - Implement individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions. - Collaborate with school staff to create a safe and supportive environment. - Educate students and staff on health-related topics. - Maintain accurate health records and comply with all relevant professional standards of practice. - Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: - Current California LVN license. - Experience in a school setting preferred. - Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice. - Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program. - Current CPR certification, TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray, and health certificate as required.
