Medical Front Office Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Medical Front Office Specialist to support daily administrative operations in a healthcare setting. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors and is responsible for delivering excellent service while ensuring smooth front office workflows. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable managing scheduling, patient intake, and general administrative duties.Hours: • Monday 8:30am-5:30pm• Tuesday 7:30am-5:00pm• Wednesday 12:00pm-5:30pm• Thursday 8:00am-5:30pm• Friday 7:30am-4:00pmResponsibilities:Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming mannerAnswer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiriesSchedule, confirm, and reschedule appointmentsVerify patient demographics, insurance information, and required documentationComplete patient check-in and check-out processesMaintain accurate patient records and update information in the systemCollect copays and process payments as neededCoordinate with clinical staff to support patient flow and office efficiencyManage referrals, forms, and other front office administrative tasksEnsure compliance with privacy and confidentiality standards
