$500 sign-on bonus paid after120 days of continuous employment!

Pay:

$20.00 - $27.00 an hour dependingon experience

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will have theability to accurately lay out utility laterals, prepare excavation sites fordigging, and identify and address potential safety hazards. They must beproficient in grading trenches to proper specifications for pipe installationand experienced in installing laterals, fittings, valves, curb inlets, andunderground piping systems.

• Report to Job Foreman daily
• Completes tasks assigned for excavation andconstruction of underground utility sitework - often working in trenches
• Check and maintain quality of pipe to ensure itis without defect
• Effectively complete all jobs assignments withinthe designated time limit
• Identify hazards associated with taskassignments
• Must maintain a clean and safe work area
• Comply with all safety policies, practices andprocedures
• Other duties as assigned by Foreman and ProjectManager

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in wet utilityunderground construction
• Display competency and awareness of surroundingsto identify safety hazards
• Ability to stand, bend, shovel, and complete othermiscellaneous manual labor
• Abilityto lift at least 50 lbs. continually throughout the day
• Comfortablewith exposure to various weather conditions
