Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients using evidence-based assessments and observational techniques.
• Create tailored treatment plans that cater to both immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions emphasizing communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing expertise.
• Work collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and family members to develop integrated care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families to ensure they are equipped to support progress between therapy sessions.
• Provide essential inpatient evaluations and therapy services when necessary, reinforcing continuity of care through the recovery journey.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation compliant with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Engage in ongoing education and collaborate with peers to stay at the forefront of advancements in the field.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification necessary within 30 days of joining.
