Accounts Payable Specialist Job Location Hurricane, WV Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall accounting function. Key Sub Tasks · Process and verify invoices for payment · Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices · Maintain accurate accounts payable records and files · Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers · Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies · Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner · Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting · Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures · Support audits by providing documentation and reports as needed Desired Skills and Experience Practical skills and a good understanding of how finance works. 5+ years experience in accounting Minimum 3 years of experience using QuickBooks Online. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
