Certified Home Health Aide
Comfort Keepers is actively seeking responsible and reliable certified home health aides to work on cases throughout our territories on Long Island.
Job locations: We service all of Nassau County and Western Suffolk.
Available shifts include: Full Time/Part Time. Flexible hours/days Monday thru Sunday.
Job duties may include:
- Medication reminders
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping: dusting, dishes, vacuuming, laundry
- Driving to appointments or running errands MUST be able to drive clients!
- Companionship- interactive caregiving
- Experience with dementia/Alzheimers is a must
- Communicating any changes with patient status to the office
Comfort Keepers offers PTO days for all employees! We also offer, paid orientation and on boarding, paid on call, paid shadows, paid in service courses, reimbursement for mileage AND MORE! We also offer great benefits to receive employee discounts through our payroll company.
All caregivers must have a reliable car with auto insurance, to get to and from work and drive their clients to appointments/programs!
