Position : Special Education Teacher
Location : Pittsburgh, PA
Hourly Wage : $40+/hour, based on experience
Employment Type : W2, Weekly Direct Deposit

Position Details:
- Hours : Full-time (30-37.5 hours/week)
- Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) : Create and implement learning plans based on students' specific needs, abilities, and goals.
- Monitor Student Progress : Assess and track the progress of students, adjusting instruction and goals as necessary.
- Implement Behavioral Strategies : Use positive behavioral interventions and supports to address behavioral challenges and promote appropriate behavior.
- Adapt Curriculum : Modify and adapt lesson plans, materials, and assessments to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Ensure Compliance with Laws and Regulations : Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) and Section 504, to ensure students receive the services they are entitled to.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Special Education Teaching License Required
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

- Interview with School District : Virtual Zoom interview with the district.
