Here’s what you’ll do; Take responsibility for ensuring that the community is exceptionally well-maintained, well-presented and functional always. Ensure students are safe and secure at all time. Along with the day to day activities within your role, you will also be required to manage your health and safety responsibilities as set out in Section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Etc. Act 1974, where it states that you have a duty to take care of yourself and those around you, by your acts or omissions and to cooperate with your employer on health and safety matters. This list in by no means exhaustive but in short, your main responsibility is to take pride in the look and feel of the property – ensuring the standard is great for our residents. You’ll need to have some experience ideally within maintenance, security or facilities with a proactive approach to solving problems. A relevant trade would give you the edge but is certainly not essential. You will also require a full driving licence.
