Job Posting: Service Technician (Heavy-Duty Trucks & Trailers)

Location: Springdale, AR

Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Mon. – Fri., 8am-430pm; occasional Saturday work as needed

Work Environment: Non-climate controlled service department

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance and quality repairs on heavy-duty trucks and a variety of trailers, including dry vans, flatbeds, reefers, truck bodies, and specialty trailers. If you have mechanical experience, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection & Diagnosis: Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform quality maintenance and repairs on trailers and associated equipment.
• Maintenance & Rebuilding: Build, rebuild, and repair all parts of trailer equipment to exact specifications using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Documentation: Read and interpret job orders to ensure proper corrective action is taken, and accurately document all repair processes to company standards.
• Team Collaboration: Assist other technicians on complex work orders or multi-person jobs as needed.
• Customer Service: Provide professional communication with customers and vendors to effectively resolve service issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience in preventative maintenance and repair of heavy-duty commercial equipment, dry vans, flatbeds, reefers, truck bodies, or specialty trailers.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Strong ability to read job orders and document technical work accurately.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing communication skills.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks associated with heavy-duty equipment repair. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
• Work Environment: Ability to work effectively in a non-climate controlled service department environment.
